All children are able to take Imperial Classical Ballet technique by the ISTD examination board. The syllabus has now evolved to promote the English classical style and address the changing needs of Ballet dancers today.

Modern dance is a constantly changing medium, offering the chance for versatility through combining the styles of jazz, stage, modern dance and the more funky styles; pupils follow the I.S.T.D syllabus helping to achieve flexibility and control.

Tap is a highly enjoyable, rhythmic form of dance, pupils study the I.S.T.D syllabus, which is designed to establish musicality a relaxation through the knees and ankles and a strong sense of rhythm.

Contemporary dance is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical and classical ballet. Contemporary dancers strive to connect the mind and the body through fluid dance movements. Contemporary dance stresses versatility and improvisation,  unlike the strike and structured nature of ballet. Contemporary focuses on floor work, contact, release, floor work, fall and recovery.  There are many different elements of changed in rhythm, speed and direction. It can also be performed to many different styles of music.

Musical Theatre is a combination of songs, spoken dialogue, acting and dance. Musical theatre is based on stories with emotional content shown through these genres. We work on many old and new musicals.
